Life Legacy
Frank Joseph Tumulty, Jr, age 84 of San Antonio died on Tuesday, May 29, 2012.
He grew up in Baltimore, MD and after high school joined the Navy. After, Frank concentrated on his education and then joined the Air Force where he served in combat during the Korean War as a B-29 navigator. He retired from his military career as a Major after 20 years.
Frank and his wife enjoyed traveling and going out dancing. Frank was also an avid golfer. Both were members of St. Pius X Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his son, Frank J. Tumulty III.
Frank is survived by his wife of 58 years, Vivian Tumulty; son, Patrick J. Tumulty; daughter, Karen Tumulty and son-in-law, Paul Richter; son, Michael Tumulty; two grandchildren, Nicholas and John Richter and sister, Frances DeLuca.
A visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Porter Loring Mortuary.
