Life Legacy


Harlan O. Tibbitts beloved father and grandfather entered eternal life on May 18, 2012 at the age of 97. He was born July 18, 1914 in Crescent, Oklahoma.

He served in the Army Air Corps in the Pacific during WWII. After the war, he married Lillian G. Warmsley of the Philippines, who preceded him in death. His two sisters, Luella Roady and Lois Thomas also preceded him in death.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law; Drs. Nanette and Peter Auriemma, and his grandson, Anthony. Harlan worked for City Public Service Board for many years. His love of flying planes earned him the nickname “Birdie” among friends. Visitation will be Monday May 21st from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Porter Loring.
