Life Legacy
Philip Nicholas LaRochelle, 53, was called home November 29th 2011 while working as an IT Consultant in Windsor, Canada. Born October 15, 1958 to Ralph and Maria LaRochelle, in Athens, Greece, Phil grew up a son of the US Air Force. Phil was a devoted family man, a devout Christian, an intellectual, a lover of the arts, and loved to travel and experience new things. He was intensely proud of his Greek heritage and of his grandchildren and grand niece. Always a generous man, Phil freely gave his time and money to those he loved and to minister to those less fortunate. He is survived by his parents, Ralph and Maria LaRochelle of San Antonio; daughter, Anna Alcorn and her husband, Matthew and their children, William and Olivia of Los Angeles; daughter, Katherine LaRochelle of Los Angeles; brother, Thomas LaRochelle of Tucson; niece, Amanda LaRochelle, Ned Gittings, and their daughter, Nola LaRochelle-Gittings; niece, Chelsie LaRochelle; nephew, Dylan LaRochelle, also of Tucson; Aunt, Demetra and husband, William Byrd of San Antonio; uncle, Thomas LaRochelle and wife, Dottie of New Hampshire, Treva LaRochelle of San Antonio; Sybil Jordan of Hattiesburg, MS; numerous family and friends. The family will receive friends from 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M., Friday, December 9, 2011 at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
