Life Legacy


Vada Mildred Hagee, born in Alice, Texas on May 29, 1913 to Charles Albert and Martha Swick, went to be with the Lord on April 30, 2012.

Vada lived most of her early life in Goose Creek, Texas. After graduating from high school, she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Theology from Southern Bible College which later became Southwestern Assemblies of God University.

She married William Bythel Hagee in 1933. Vada and Bythel had four sons, William Bythel Hagee Jr., Reverend John Charles Hagee, Jack Thomas Hagee and Michael David Hagee.

Vada was the church administrator for the three churches pastored by her husband in their fifty years of marriage; The First Assembly of God of Channelview, Texas and Houston, Texas respectively, and Glad Tidings Assembly of God in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Vada was preceded in death by her husband Bythel and is survived by her four sons and their wives; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, May 6, 2012, at the Vada Hagee Prayer Chapel of Cornerstone Church.
