Life Legacy
Miriam L. (“Pat”) Matthews, age 78, passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at the Tranquility Hospice Center in Austell Georgia.
She was born in Gadsden, AL to Lafayette and Nancy (Mann) Patterson. Pat served her country in the Women’s Army Corps, was a World Traveler, wife and loving mother and a member of Trinity Baptist Church in San Antonio.
She was preceded in death by her husband, CMSGT Robert W. Matthews in 1996. Miriam is survived by 4 daughters, Debbie Keith and husband, Bill; Cathy Rowley; Sandi Ceragno and husband, Jeff, Carol Matthews; sister Geraldine Blair, 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, April 19, 2012 at Porter Loring Mortuary.
