Life Legacy
Sophia Eloff Waggener of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2008, at the age of 86. She is preceded in death by her brother, Jim Eloff. Sophia is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Burns E. Waggener, Jr.; son, Burns Waggener III and wife, Dana; daughter, Deborah Calhoun and husband, Bruce; son, Scott Waggener and wife, Hendy; grandsons: Burns Waggener IV, Charlie Waggener and Chase Waggener; granddaughter, Erika Solis and husband, Kris Hauch; sister-in-law, Marian Eloff; brother-in-law, Robert Waggener; her beloved dogs: Lucky and Red; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. The family extends special gratitude to Erin Perez, R.N. and the rest of the Vitas Hospice team for their care and support.
