Life Legacy
Eve Zamecnik, age 77, of San Antonio, succumbed after a lengthy illness to be with the Lord on Monday, September 17, 2001. She was an Army wife who traveled around the world with her husband, Major Charles Zamecnik. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who adored her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Zamecnik was also an avid animal lover. She is survived by her daughters, Judi Zamecnik and June Sharrer; granddaughter, Shaun Statham, all of San Antonio; son, David Zamecnik and his wife Chris; granddaughter, Sarah Zamecnik, all of Severn, MD; sister, Wanda Atkins and her husband Wade, of Columbus, GA; and niece and nephew, Diane and David Reed, of MS.
