Mrs. Doss had a quiet smile and a loving, caring attitude. She drew people into her world. She will be solely missed. My prayers are with her family; we are not without hope of seeing Mrs. Doss again. God bless.

My heart goes out to Reggie, Bernard and the Doss Family for the loss of sweet, sweet Mary. I had the pleasure of teaching at Royalgate in the 70's and 80's with Mary and we have remained friends ever since. Pat (Bruce), Mary and I would get together at Lubys for lunch and to catch up on our families and share memories of Royalgate. My daughter Kelly and son Rob had "Mrs Doss" in the 3rd grade and loved her. She has touched the lives of many children and helped to influence their lives. She is a wonderful, classy lady that touched the hearts of many. She will be missed. Rest in peace sweet Mary. You are LOVED !

I was so happy and grateful to have met you and to have had you in my life as long as I did. I was proud to have been able to give you two beautiful grandchildren who will miss you terribly. Thank you for always being there for us. Thank you for being exceptional grandparents to these children.I will miss you terribly but I’m happy you will be reunited with Mr. Doss. I love you MOM. This has been a very tough time in my life. My heart's so "SAD". Knowing I can't see or touch you anymore, hug you or kiss you on your "SWEET FACE". Calling you each morning & your grandsons saying good morning "GRANDMA" we're on our way to school, what you doing? and you saying hello SWEETHEARTS, GRANDMA LOVES YOU!!!. That's Mary Doss, my "MOM", always giving love & kindness to all she knows and meets. God knows you've been thru so much over the years, but being the "Rock" of our family that you are, you never complained just encouraged everyone around you. God let us "SHARE" you for 77 years, but my selfishness wanted you to stay, but GOD had plans for one of his "BRIGHTEST JEWELS",It was to come home. You've always taught my brother I to let go & let "GOD" when things were tough. I'm trying so hard to do that. You & DAD are together again at the side of our LORD & SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST. You are "HOME". MOM you're in my heart & memories always, I'm so blessed to have you as my "MOTHER". I will LOVE YOU, ALWAYS & FOREVER, your son Reggie
