Jerry and Pat James

We were glad we could be part of Helena's memorial service for a little while today. Jerry had to catch a plane. Helena was so special to us. She made our family with two small children feel at home in San Antonio. Our children grew up with Helena and the Y as part of our extended family. We know how very much she loved her boys and their families. Our prayers are with you at this time of loss. Pat and Jerry James

Ken & Penny Cecil

We are remembering the caring wrapped in frankness that was Mrs. Yarbrough. She and T.H. came to visit with us one time on their way to Arkansas when we still lived in Diboll, TX. Even though she was tired from an already long drive, she sat on our couch and talked with us for hours. She was so interested in what we were doing and the lives we had built together since high school. We will never forget here genuine interest in our family, my mom and dad and my brothers & sister. We are rejoicing in her reunion with T.H.!

I first met Aunt TO through Dan and Carlene Comer and Jim Oliver. I met her on several occasions through family gatherings. I then had the opportunity to care for her at Northeast Baptist Hospital when she had her Carotid Endarterectomy. I found her to be a lady that loved life and she enjoyed living it. Aunt TO was very kind and compassionate. She loved to tell you stories of the different places she had traveled. She will be fondly remembered and will be missed by many that loved her.

The Berg Family

Your mother has left a lasting memory upon us. From my daughter who became the "Beautiful Swan", to my son who became "Her Bobbykins", to the many hours of conversations and wisdom she shared with me, her memory will be forever in our hearts. We loved your mother and we will miss her spirit and presence beyond words. Over the years the Yarbrough Family has become a big part of the Berg Family's life. We are experiencing another sad and painful loss. Please accept our deepest sympathy.

Donita Wilson

I am so saddened to read of Helena's death. We have been out of town this week, or I would have attended her services. I have many fond memories of the times she and I had when we worked together at the Y 1973-76. We had been in touch from time to time over the last several years, but it has been about a year since I last talked to her. I grieve for all of you and with you. She made a great impact on many lives, and I will truly miss her. Donita Wilson Mrs. Isaac
