Porter Loring Family Care ServicesGrief manifests in its own way and on its own timetable. You may feel a sense of loss immediately, or it may be weeks or months before it hits you. When it does, Porter Loring Family Care Services will be there to help. To begin with, a Continuing Care Consultant will be available to provide a listening ear and to help with tasks immediately after the funeral. We also provide bereavement literature, can arrange for individual or family counseling, recommend grief support groups and more. Naturally, there may be other family members and close friends to turn to, and your house of worship or local hospital may offer bereavement programs. But don’t hesitate to ask about the services we offer. You may not need them now, but as time passes, it will be good to know you can reach out to someone, should you have concerns.
